"There is no remedy so easy as books, which if they do not give cheerfulness, at least restore quiet to the most troubled mind."

—Lady Mary Wortley Montagu (1689-1762) English society figure, letter writer

Winter Reading & Arts Festival

Document Actions

The festival runs from December 22, 2009, to February 28, 2010. We have an exciting line-up of performances and activities from around the world and within our own community!

The Cedar Mill Community Library Association is celebrating the rich cultural diversity in our community with our third annual Winter Reading & Arts Festival.

“Your Library Brings You the World!” is the theme around which our festivities will once again revolve.

The festival combines literature and reading enjoyment with programs and activities for all ages that reflect the multi-cultural dimensions of Cedar Mill and Bethany. Our goal is to enhance cultural learning experiences and build awareness of the impact of arts, heritage and humanities on our community’s quality of life, sense of place, and community identity.

For more information and a complete schedule, visit our website Festival page, ask a librarian, call the reference desk at 503 644-0043 Ext 114, or email AskUsCML@wccls.org.
