Changes to Online Resources

After September 1, you may notice some changes in the Online Resources area of the WCCLS website.

The Oregon State Library, who makes licensing agreements for some of our electronic resources, will be changing vendors August 31. They formerly had a contract with EBSCO; now they will be contracting with Gale Cengage.

What that means to you is that you'll still be able to access your favorite resources like Auto Repair Reference Center and ReferenceUSA with your library card.

Plus, you’ll see new features including the New York Times newspaper (full text 1985-present, in Academic OneFile), home improvement and gardening magazines online and more.

For more details, read the news item at WCCLS News or go straight to your library’s resources online to explore.

Questions? Ask at the Adult Services desk, or by chat or email http://www.oregonlibraries.net.
