"There is a difference between a book of two hundred pages from the very beginning, and a book of two hundred pages which is the result of an original eight hundred pages. The six hundred are there. Only you don't see them."

Plant sale supporting library operations

We are offering vegetables and herbs for your home garden, as well as annuals and perennials to beautify your yard.

Dedicated volunteers and organizations are behind this effort. Plants sources are all local. Plant suppliers are New Leaf Greenhouse in Cornelius, http://www.newleafgreenhouse.com/fundraiserspring.htm Pumpkin Ridge Gardens in North Plains www.pumpkinridgegardens.com and library volunteer and gardener, Cori Bacher. Cori is donating 100% of her proceeds to the Library and will also be on hand to answer your gardening questions.

Besides offering free henna and face painting, a portion of any art and craft sales from the Village Gallery of Arts on May 17th will be donated to the Library.

Second Edition is accepting gardening-related items for re-sale and will be offering very attractive prices for garden-related items.
