Bethany Library Expansion
The expansion project relies on private support to create a comfortable and attractive community resource. As Cedar Mill and Bethany lie outside a city and receive no municipal tax support, funding for the expansion comes from library reserves, the Second Edition Resale shop and local community support.
Join CMCLA!
The Bethany and Cedar Mill libraries are governed by the Cedar Mill Community Library Association. The CMCLA is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt corporation dedicated to providing library service in Cedar Mill and Bethany.
Membership
Those who give monetary contributions to the Bethany library become members of the Cedar Mill Community Library Association.
How will my gift be used?
Your gift will be used for the Bethany library expansion including: new furniture, (tables, chairs, window benches), computers, shelves, paint, carpet, and much more!
Benefits of Membership
One of the benefits of joining the association is a copy of the Library News mailed to your home. (you can opt to receive via email)
You will also be eligible to serve on the library's Board of Directors and to participate in library governance. You'll receive notice of special events and your gift will be recognized in the Library News. (unless you opt to remain anonymous)
Members who give cumulative annual donations of $250 or more are invited to recognition events and named on the donor board.

Supporting Donor Club
We invite you to join the Library’s Supporting Donor Club. This program is an easy, secure way for you to give steady support to the library via your credit card.
• More of your donation goes to support library operations: books and media, storytimes, helpful librarians to answer your questions, computer classes for seniors...
• Direct donations can be made monthly or quarterly (will be withdrawn on the 15th of the month).
• Donations will appear on your credit card statement as they are credited and you can cancel at any time.
• You will receive a year-end statement and, of course, your donations are tax deductible to the full extent provided by law.
